As mentioned, we had big plans to celebrate the milestone but like many things this year, our birthday bash is on hold. Not to worry, as we will celebrate when we can, safely in the future. In the meantime, we’re asking you to celebrate with us by sending virtual hugs, writing birthday wishes and thanks to the traders of the People’s Market and posting them in the Facebook event Preston Market’s Iso 50th.
We invite you to celebrate, in the most Preston Market way we can think of. Write about your favourite memories at the market, thank your favourite trader, recreate a 70’s birthday cake, record yourself singing happy birthday or #PutYourNonnaTrolleysOut – let’s give the Preston Market the grand 50th Iso Birthday it deserves!
This virtual event will kick off a year-long celebration of the Market’s 50th (as we do hope to celebrate in person at some point).
